Elegant grey was the trend colour in 2021. The grey tone brings a subtle style to this small space, giving a solid and mysterious feeling.

The floor of the whole house adopts the more artistic grey Italian floor tiles, which makes the platform and the high cabinet form a special relationship. The kitchen wall is made of grey marble-patterned Italian bricks, matte black cabinet door panels with textured surfaces, and grey-grained quartz stone countertops to create the effect of a black box. An 800 mm × 800 mm Spanish grey long-body brick is used in the bathroom. The brick itself has a pattern, which brings out the effect of a rough and ancient castle. The owner is also very pleased with this grey angle.

The designer removed the original partition, and the two bedrooms were divided with hidden high cabinets. Although the living room already has a large window that is very bright, the designer also utilised the ceiling height at the top of the high cabinet. Two clear glass stalk windows are designed to let the sunlight of the bedroom pierce the living room. The high cabinet is shared by the living room and the bedroom. The other room also takes advantage of the nine-foot-high floor to create a platform bed, adding a wardrobe and a lot of space. The owner only needs to bring two crates to move in.
